End of Phase
We completed a very productive six-day phase today. Again reminder that a new talk by Bodhinatha on Appreciation has been posted today (see right side bar.)
We also bring you some special photos of Gurudeva for you to download, a little video of Iraivan and some news on major landscaping work underway.

Today is the last day of our phase.

over our coming two-day retreat,

Landscaping Rishi Valley
The Rishi Valley landscaping work which began a few weeks back continues. It was a few weeks back that Keoke cleared some scrub brush. Now island families are helping to plant groundcovers. They have chosen edible plants for this which will provide food for the monks and be a beautiful green carpet, too. Spinach and sweet potato vines have been sprigged and are growing well with occasional rains.
Bodhinatha watches as the work proceeds.
It was his vision to open up Rishi Valley, which as you can see is close to Iraivan Temple (seen in the upper right of this photo). The new pond is lovely green-blue today and will sport water plants in the future.

All experiences are good experiences, necessary to get us here. Awareness of aspects of ourselves that are constantly changing is a liberating perception, breaking our chains to mundane areas, detaching from instinctive and intellectual to go into superconscious. The greatest challenge facing youth today is the lack of relating to the devotional side of Hinduism. Daily practice, daily vigil, moves us forward spiritually.
