They will be back on April 16th.
Yogaswami's Mahasamadhi at Kauai Aadheenam
We bring pictures from our arati for Yogaswami yesterday in the Guru peedam where a gold-plated image of our Parameshti Guru is enshrined.
Yogaswami said of his songs called “Natchintanai”
“The songs of Swami Yoganathan
Shall reveal the beauteous Path.
They’ll fill thee with ambrosial bliss
Till you breathe, and crown thee
With the truth of Aham Brahmasmi.”
Yogaswami sang in his famous Natchintanai called “Anma Jnanam”
1. The abode of Wisdom (JnanaVeedu) shall be our gain, If the discipline of charity and austerity, we espouse.
2. Remember the Lord who’s like fragrance in the flower, And thy tongue shall repeat the name of Namasivaya.
3. Serve Him who is Purity and Life of life And thou shalt realise Siva’s grace.
4. The ignorant know not the flowery Feet of God, Invoke Him aloud, before the call of Death.
5. If you surrender yourself entirely at His Feet, He will shelter you like the sweet mother.

Yogaswami's Mahasamadhi Observed in Toronto
We received these photos and testimony from Toronto where Yogaswami’s devotees celebrated his Maha Samadhi yesterday.
Rajamohan writes:
“We are very delighted to share some of the photos taken at Satguru Yogaswamy
Maha Samadhi Pooja observance held at Sangamam Hall, Toronto amidst the presence
of many Yogaswamy devotees.”
We felt the presence of Satguru Yogaswamy and Satguru Bodhinatha Veylan Swamy amongst us with a miraculous occurance.
While the message from Satguru
Bodhinatha Veylan Swamy was being read to the congregation, petals of flowers
from the charam strung around Yogaswamy and Lord Siva fell intermittantly four
times on Satguru Bodhinatha Veylan Swamy’s picture. Many devotees witnessed this
and relished the presence and thoughts of the great Satgurus in astonishment.
It was a very moving experience for all the devotees.
Padmanabhan Family
Devan and Suchita Padmanabhan with their two lovely children, Darshan and Sunaya. They enjoyed a visit to the Iraivan Temple and attended a powerful morning puja in Kadavul Temple. The Padmanabhan family outside the offices of Hinduism Today and Himalayan Academy after a wonderful meeting with Paramacharya Palaniswami. They received his blessings and were then on their way to the airport to board their flight home to Minnesota.
Minimela Building Progress
Our new minimela building is quite impressively larger than we expected.
It’s hard to see inside the main hospitality room which is supported on giant beams. Measuring out at 20 X 22 feet it is nearly 450 square feet of open space to encompass a fairly large group.
We are having about 500 visitors a week. This includes the tour day and counts and endless stream of people coming and going all morning each day.

Bodhinatha's Latest Upadesha: "Detachment from Experiences; Importance of Daily Vigil" (May 5, 2013)
All experiences are good experiences, necessary to get us here. Awareness of aspects of ourselves that are constantly changing is a liberating perception, breaking our chains to mundane areas, detaching from instinctive and intellectual to go into superconscious. The greatest challenge facing youth today is the lack of relating to the devotional side of Hinduism. Daily practice, daily vigil, moves us forward spiritually. Commentary on Merging with Siva, The Master Course, Lesson 21.
