He had the most perfect figure, because he was a god in human form. He was the embodiment of Shiva. Once a while he descends on this earth to help in our human evolution. Those who have seen him have indeed seen shiva.
The letter "Ya" in the Panchakshara Mantra, Namasivaya, stands for the soul.
