Nepali Ganesha

Lord Ganesha at the beginning of Tiruneri Path.

Some put this magnificent garland on what we call “Nepali Ganesha” whose shrine is the first on to greet visitors on arrival at the monastery.

This murthi seems to have special powers as He has come to pilgrims during their sleep in nearby homes where they have been residing.
