For over thirty years Gurudeva gave granite images to help start many temples throughout America and around the world. This gift has entered the temple puranam (Temple History Story) of many temples. We just recently received this note from Kanniks Kannikeswaran
“Namaste, I am forwarding another song here that I had composed in Tamil in commemoration of the kumbhabhishekam of the image of Murugan (with Valli and Devasena) at the Cincinnati temple. The image was gifted to the temple by Satguru Sivaya Subramuniyaswami. [referred to in the song as the “sage of Kauai”]

(pazhamudirsolai murugan in the form of murugan at navapuram)
Note: The image of Murugan with Valli and Devasena was presented to the Cincinnati temple by Satguru Sivaya Subramuniya Swami of the Kauai Aadheenam; the image was consecrated in 2004 in the presence of Satguru Bodhinatha Veylanswami . The Cincinnati Hindu temple is located just of the NewTown exit (navapuram): Murugan here is conceived as ‘palamudirsolai murugan’. I sang and recorded this composition in 2003. It was released as part of a CD titled ‘Skanda’ at the kumbhabhishekam in 2004.
Jai Muruga! Thank you Mr. Kanniks Kannikeswaran; you are a true Murugan devotee. Such a wonderful song cannot originate from anyone other than a true Murugan devotee. Is the CD with your song available for me to purchase?

The song is absolutely beautiful and renders bliss to my mind. Can we purchase the “Skanda” cd mentioned above from the Kumbhabhishekam?
