Pilgrims to Kauai's Hindu Monastery

On the recommendation of devotee, Shakti Mahadevan, this very devout meditation group of ladies arrived for the very beautiful and powerful morning puja in Kadavul Temple, followed by a tour of the Iraivan Temple. All are from Washington State and Oregon. Linda Melhoff (purple shawl) remembers meeting Gurudeva in 2001. She felt especially blessed when Gurudeva came and talked with her in the temple at that time. Before her departure today Linda stated that after her visit here she felt "completely fulfilled spiritually."

Dr. Kamlesh Thaker and his wife, Chhays Thaker, R.N. pose at the monasterie's famous "Lookout." Dr. Thaker is a cardiologist specializing in the Intensive Care Unit, while his wife, Chhays, is an ICU nurse both serving at the same facility in Houston, TX. They were especially blessed to receive the darshan of Sat Guru Bodhinatha Veylanswami this morning following the puja in Kadavul Temple.

Dr. Viren Jhaveri and Dr. Shamila Jhaveri pose with Aakash (13) and Ansh (6) following a tour of the Iraivan Temple and gardens. This lovely family is from Westbury, NY (originally Mumbai). Shamila felt the peaceful energy here and wants to return to this spiritual paradise again soon.
