Bodhinatha Busy in California
There’s a lot of news and photos from Bodhinatha’s activities California today. They are all in the Twitter links below.
Meanwhile at home it is the “JAZZ” Day for Ganapati Kulam, for the January issue of Hinduism Today. That is a name given from the days when we put all the files on an Iomega Jazz cartridge and shipped them to the printer. Today it means that editorial should be complete and all files ready to be proof read before making the PDFs for the printer next phase. JAZZ day is always an intense one for the kulam.

Getting Ready for Mahasamadhi
Some special preparations are being made for the November 11-14 Mahasamadhi Observations. One is an interactive art project (which is a bit of a secret but you will see it on TAKA when it is unveiled. Here, Indian artist S. Rajam sketches Gurudeva at the homa, offering ghee into the fires of consciousness. Pilgrims will color it.
Nigel Sivam drew this delightful version, with Lord Ganesha attending (who wouldn't want to be there for a satguru's Siva homa).
Another batch of ancient photos have been scanned and just arrived.
Gurudeva meets with other visiting dignitaries.
His 1987 arrival in Mauritius, greeted by the Sivacharya and leaders of the nation.
Gurudeva's Teachings Presented in Columbo, Sri Lanka
On Thursday, October 15th, a Saivite Hinduism workshop was held at the Colombo (Bambalapitya) Hindu College, Sri Lanka.
The workshop was conducted by Rishi Thondunathan.
Students were instructed about the Nine Beliefs of Hinduism, Ten Questions about Hinduism and more from Gurudeva’s book, Dancing with Siva.
