This was a short by dynamic phase at Kauai Aadheenam and we are headed into another three-day retreat. The Ganapati Kulam reported on their work today. The major focus of the team is work on the festival pagers. These are full tabloid pages, one for each major Hindu festival, which will be distributed to the mainstream media for republication. Imagine the Los Angeles Times running a full page on Maha Sivaratri, or Diwali (Deepavali)! That’s our goal.
This content will also be re-formatted for the next issue of Hinduism Today, so you will all get to see it in our April issue.
~~~~~~~~~~~ END OF PHASE
Today is the last day of our phase.
This edition of TAKA will remain posted
over our coming three-day retreat,
until Dasami Tithi, Sun One, Saturday, January 2nd
"Stand strong for Saivism." The nature of life for Saivites is to turn work into worship, to turn the secular into the sacred. Each day give a little extra warmth, humanness and upliftment to others. Every day is a holy day, all day long. We want to follow our religion even in our dreams. If we help someone, we're worshiping. Wherever we are, that's a place of worship. "To the Saivite Hindu all of life is sacred. All of life is religion."
