After Maha Sivaratri we had a blissful retreat and everyone is back to work and normal routines.

Mr. Umakanthan’s family brought him to Kauai for his sixtieth birthday. He sits before the homa for a special blessing.

Our weekly homa is always a mystical time for us. The gateway between all three worlds is fully opened and a great shakti fills our hearts and minds.

For years, since Gurudeva’s Maha Samadhi, the Ganapati Kulam has been working to digitize all our old photos, tapes and video.

Here is one from the archives. For several years “way back when” Gurudeva would lead the monks in a daily exercise-dance session at 2:30 in the afternoon. Here he is in perfect form.
