Chola Pond and Streams Nearing Completion
Our Siddhidata Kulam has done a marvelous and thorough job on the stream the flows through the Aadheenam. Being build right on the edge of the cliffs we call the “pali” that forms the valley of the Wailua River, it is important that we secure the land 50 to 100 feet back from the edge from erosion.
The Siddhidata Kulam is ensuring that all the water stays in the channel and the soil beneath stays put!
Inspector of all things 10 inche above ground, Pandian kitty says “Wow, what an amazing job and I did not have to lift a paw!”
Big Tour Day
An inspired group of students and mainland visitors witnessed a wonder of the modern world today and were full of praise for the monks in creating an oasis of peace on earth.
A large Grammataphyllum orchid spray greets the guests as we walk by.
Circumambulating Iraivan is the highlight of their experience.
A “famous” stop around the temple. Rolling the stone ball inside the lion’s mouth. “How did they do that!?”
“We are a soul, a perfect being of light. That doesn’t mean everything we do is perfect, but it means who we are is perfect and what we do does not change who we are.”

Bodhinatha's Latest Upadesha: "Detachment from Experiences; Importance of Daily Vigil" (May 5, 2013)
All experiences are good experiences, necessary to get us here. Awareness of aspects of ourselves that are constantly changing is a liberating perception, breaking our chains to mundane areas, detaching from instinctive and intellectual to go into superconscious. The greatest challenge facing youth today is the lack of relating to the devotional side of Hinduism. Daily practice, daily vigil, moves us forward spiritually. Commentary on Merging with Siva, The Master Course, Lesson 21.
