Upgrades Continue — Cauldron Installed

Today Yoginathaswami and the silpis installed the vasana daha tantra burning cauldron at the Puakenikeni Mandapam.

It is a magnificent piece.

Paul Repogle, the craftsman who made the beautiful lotus stainless steel gates, is making some refinements.

Great work Paul!

Great, beautiful, inspired! Congratulations to the artist and to the monks who planned it. It´s like “art noveau harmonizes with hindu art”! Nevertheless, would there be a way to hide the modern locker?

    Ganapathi Thunai.
When I saw the beautiful gate for the first time, the bottom “gold color” metal piece depicting the water was not there on the right side door, and I was not happy because there is no “visual symmetry.” Now, it is there and I am really happy. One thing that I learned from this: Kauai Hindu Monastery is Sivaloka on earth, so everything is perfect there, I have to have patience and see things evolve.

    Thank you so much!
I dream of someday, passing through those Precious Gates, again.
    All my Love, and Appreciation,
    David

Its amazing, how beautifully these contemporary gates blend in with this ancient archway while allowing an unobstructed view of the inside… thank you Paul.
