Specimen Tree Nursury Complete Today!

The specimen tree nursery at Himalayan Acres was completed today by Scott Young and his team, Durvasa Alahan (at right), Arumugaswami and Sadhaka Satyanatha (behind the camera). The final step was to install the irrigation lines, providing a two-gallon per hour emitter for each tree.

An out row of foxtail palms and three inner rows of areca palms. Both are very popular for island landscaping.

Looking back toward our equipment tent along the row of arecas. These are used often to create a tall, decorative fence between properties.

Looking the other way toward our small reservoir along the arecas. Water is pumped from the reservoir for the palms and the five-acre noni field, which is two hundred feet to the right.
