I Bid Thee – Enter!

One of our CyberCadets was deeply moved seeing the new entrance archway lately. So much so, she wrote a poem which we share today. It’s called “I Bid Thee – Enter!”

In honor of the new archway … WHAT a beauty! It brought mixed feelings of grandeur and humility, beauty and modesty, excitement and stillness. And then came this poem …

You stand at the threshold
to a treasure trove of wonders
here dwells a Presence
that dwarfs the largest pachyderm
and yet is the light in that little firefly
the glow in the dewdrop on that blade of grass!
I bid thee-Enter!

I stand tall and grand
just like the ego
drop it here by my side
it serves no purpose inside!

Those you are about to greet
are so humble, so sweet
it is in them that
innocence and intelligence meet!

Each a gem, so precious, so unique
each but a facet of that
Master of masters
he has chosen and sworn to serve!
I bid thee-Enter!

Throw open the doors of your heart
and the windows to your soul
fix your mind steadily on the Now
for the senses five, is a feast galore!

what lies beyond is a mystical land
much unseen, more untold
in the inner spaces and other realms
moments of experience
glimpses of another sense
magic, mystery and oh! such love, such grace
touches you as you stand and gaze
I bid thee-Enter!

Is that a shiver down your spine?
Aahh … that is but natural,
a preparation for what lies yonder
on this rare and special land!
You will come back transformed
in a subtle, yet profound way
a smile on your lips, joy in your heart

maybe even a tear or two
a puzzled look may come to bear
as you ponder and explore
what you never knew existed before!
Keep coming for there is much to uncover
For now, I bid thee-Enter!

Aum Namah Sivaya!
