One-Thousand Areca Palms Begun
1,000 Areca palm seedlings were potted during the retreat by Acharya Arumugaswami and Jonathan with help from Chamundi Sabanathan, Vel Alahan and John Stern.
Jonathan with his bright smile is showing us one of the seedlings. Our Philippino Grandmas picked these off the ground last week from one of our mature Areca tree
We have brought ing some high quality potting soil from a local company that composts materials for gardeners.

Copper Ganesha Satsang
Reporting from Phoenix, Arizona by Banu Devi Deva We launched the first 'Copper Ganesha Satsang' for the year 2011. We had two families because of the short notice.

We read from Gurudeva's talk 'Singing to the Gods', which gave us some nice guide lines for satsang and the benefits of doing satsang, also started of with a Ganesh Puja and ended with Bajans. T
We told everybody about the new name of the group, also next satsang we will have a conference call with Kauai.

The next satsang will be on February 13th, Sunday 11:30 am. (Deva Residence). There will be about 8 families.
