About Tsunamis and the Monastery
We have been flooded not with water, but with several expressions of love and concern from people all over the world who want to know if “their monks” are fine. We are, thank you.
A summary for future reference: Kauai Aadheenam is located hundreds of feet above sea level. If a wave ever reached the monastery, it would probably wipe out a few continents first.
So there is nothing to worry about. In fact, there never is. You are the Self, and you will still be the immortal Self, wet or dry, alive or drowned, old or young. That is the infinite, eternal reassurance.
Aum Namasivaya.

The infinite, eternal reassurance is so needed in these times of world upheaval; I tend to forget the Truth of the Self when caught up in such painful empathy with the sufferings of others. Mahalo for reminding us.
