<description>Om Jai Ganesha! This was one of the happiest days in my recent memory! Even though I have been practicing ahimsa in my daily diet, and as well as possible in thought and word, taking the vow was a powerful experience. I was so honored that the priest at the Concord temple made my vrata a part of the whole morning puja. Also, having a group of Golden Gate Mission ladies there to witness it made me feel very loved and supported.
