A Most Illustrious Guest
Lord Subrahmanya Himself came today, Pleaiadean God, Master of advanced yoga, in whose sannyasins and rishis take refuge. His is the library from which Gurudeva read decades ago, drawing forth the wisdom that defines and pervades our church and our monastic order.
Today is Vaikashi Vishakham, one of Muruga’s holy days. Watch the homa and the puja in a short video the monks have created out of love for Siva, for you — and for the graceful ascetic of the inner realms, Lord Muruga.

Bodhinatha's Latest Upadesha: "Detachment from Experiences; Importance of Daily Vigil" (May 5, 2013)
All experiences are good experiences, necessary to get us here. Awareness of aspects of ourselves that are constantly changing is a liberating perception, breaking our chains to mundane areas, detaching from instinctive and intellectual to go into superconscious. The greatest challenge facing youth today is the lack of relating to the devotional side of Hinduism. Daily practice, daily vigil, moves us forward spiritually. Commentary on Merging with Siva, The Master Course, Lesson 21.

Jai Ganesha!
Thank you for the beautiful abishekam and puja for Lord Muruga – deep vibrations could be felt during the chanting of the mantras. A treat to the soul! Having just returned from visiting the Sri Subramuniya Kottam in Kopay, Sri Lanka, and seeing the video in London before returning to the Nallur Festival at MTNA in Washington, DC, gives special joy in my heart. Thank you all the Monks.
