Anna Purna Garden Summer Crops

While we don’t have snow in Hawaii we do have our cool and hot season. The spring plantings for the warm time of year are now up and flourishing. This is yellow-stemmed swiss chard.

Young okra plants just getting started.

Cabbage

Peppers

Red Swiss Chard

Red Okra ready for picking. Ayurveda considers okra an excellent food for brain health.

A four-foot tall replica of Pancha Mukha Ganapati, stand in the middle of the garden blessing all the monks’ food.

Dear Pancha Mukha Ganapati Oh How I love Thee!. How beautiful you look decked with flowers and love from all you provide for. I loved walking in the Monk’s Garden to see all the plants and lovely cows. Such a beautiful place. I am reminded of how our loving God Siva and Lord Ganesa along with Lord Murugan takes such good care of us all in every way.It is such a lesson in trusting God to see these “miracles”after tending his garden. All Is Siva.
