Guru Purnima in Chidambaram
Today a huge celebration for Bodhinatha was conducted in Chidambaram to honor him for Guru Purnima. Pictures will come later.
Swamis From Karnataka Honored and Visit Iraivan
Our troop of Sannyasins have left early this morning on their way home to India.
We continue the series from yesterday. After lunch each one was honored with a shawl, a rudraksha mala from our trees a crystal mala an a small Sivalingam. We also gave Nirmalanandanathaswami some back issues of Hinduism Today.
Later in the afternoon after a rest everyone came back to tour Iraivan, they also made a gift to present to Bodhinatha which they gave to Paramacharya Sivanathaswami who received it on his behalf.
Next, we went out to iraivan.
Each of this party serves in a different area of Karnataka.
Sri Shivananda Swamiji is one of their senior swami’s having been with the order for over forty years. He serves at the Mysore center.
Sri Nirmalanandanatha Swamiji, who serves directly under Sri Sri Balagangadharanathaswami at their main center in Karnataka.
Sri Chandrashekaranatha Swamiji serves at the center in Tumkur
Sri Sivaputra Swamiji serves at the center in Hassan.
Sri Shrishyla Swamiji serves at the Matha in Bangalore
Sri Lakshminarayananatha Swamiji serves at Khshetra.
Sri Lingesha A.S. is Balagangadharanathaswami’s Public Relations Officer in Bangalore.
A vist to the cows who just happened to be in th pasture near the Rudraksha forest.
A dip in the Wailua River.
And a visit to Anna Purna Vegetable Gardens.
Koi Re-location
A recent heavy rain sent some koi fish off to a small pool. With our reservoir closed some areas of the stream are not safe for fish. Brahmachari Mayuran is trying to catch some here to move them to a bigger pond.

All experiences are good experiences, necessary to get us here. Awareness of aspects of ourselves that are constantly changing is a liberating perception, breaking our chains to mundane areas, detaching from instinctive and intellectual to go into superconscious.
