Satguru Bodhinatha Veylanswami Arrives in Mauritius

Mauritius 17th November, 2011: Satguru Bodhinatha Veylanswami, accompanied by Sannyasin Saravananathaswami and Sannyasin Siddhanathaswami arrived in Mauritius and were welcomed by sishyas at the SSR International Airport this afternoon. The plane from Malaysia arrived a few minutes earlier and kulapaties Mardemootoo and Manick were at the VIP Lounge to welcome and take care of formalities for our Beloved Satguru and monks from Kauai Aadheenam.

On leaving the Lounge, Bodhinatha and our swamis met all our Church Members and Master Course Students who turned up at the airport to welcome Bodhinatha. The meeting was short but full of happiness and joys. Everyone rushed forward to greet Bodhinatha with flowers and garlands. Then after meeting everyone Bodhinatha left for Grand Bay where Bodhinatha will be staying at a beach villa until Saturday.

This Week's Tour Day

Yesterday was this week's tour day. Among the visitors was a group of local retired school teachers. Dedicated to education and serving our youth they were a delight to meet and talk with.

With the recent publishing of the Guru Chronicles, our guests now have access to a book which will bring alive the power and presence of our line of Mystical Masters and an introduction to the Hindu way of life in a way that is both potent and entertaining. With Bodhinatha en route to Mauritius Sadasivanathaswami, graced our visitors by personally signing their copy and adding his whimsical insights to the production of the book.

Shwetha Hegde on the left is visiting from Mumbai and was very inspired with Gurudeva's vision. Such a wonderful soul. Her family built a temple from the ground up just outside of Bangalore. Her daughter Natasha, middle, who lives in California was inspired to bring her mother to Kauai. Neil Vaz from California is also traveling with them.

Mr. and Mrs. Pillai, and Mr. G. K Palat and wife Meera are visiting from Virginia. So happy when they got off the cruise ship in Nawiliwili harbor to find out there is a Hindu Temple on Kauai. As destiny would have it - it was Tour Day which allowed them free access to Iraivan and a meeting with Sadasivanathaswami after the tour.

Such a beautiful group of souls today on our public tour. So respectful and grateful to the monks for opening the gates of the monastery and sharing their divine perspective.
