Bodhinatha Reports from Malaysia

Reporting on yesterday’s events in Malaysia, Bodhinatha writes:

We met with Ramachandran and Aravindraj. Ramachandran has a program of giving away a copy of What is Hinduism to young Hindu couples at temples.

In the evening we presented our keynote at the Kalamandapam Scott Road Murugan Temple. About 450 attended.

We ended with the book launch of Volume One and Two of the Hindu Children’s Modern Stories and many participants purchased copies after the event.

Pilgrims From India and Malaysia

Scientist from Bangalore, Dr. T.S. Mohan, visiting Hawaii for a conference. he has been reading Hinduism Today for 24 years!

He is standing on left. To his right is Kumeraintharen Murugiah from Penang, Malaysia. He is a student of environmental science doing an exchange program that brought him to University of Hawaii Manoa for a couple weeks, then on to mainland USA for few weeks to do field studies

Kumeraintharen has followed us on TAKA for quite some time and dreamed of performing abhishekam to our Narmada Lingam. He briefly met Satguru Bodhinatha in Kuala Lumpur around ten years ago at a Tirumurai competition. He is interested to become a formal sishya.

Work on the Avudaiyar In India

The final touches are being applied to the Avudaiyar in India.

Metal casting inevitably leaves some bubbles and high spots.

These will be filled in or filed down and then polished to perfection.
