Sri Sri Jeyendra Puri Mahaswamiji's Visit to North Shore

During the retreat phase local mission members took Swamiji towards the North Shore. Along the way we thought he would enjoy seeing the Baba Nityananda shrine at Jeff Lindner’s place. Jeff graciously allowed us to visit even though he was in the air that day heading back to Kauai from the mainland.

Jeff’s property is a feast for the eyes with many images of exquisite beauty

Here Swamiji is about to enter Jeff’s shrine to Baba Nityananda.

It gives the feeling of entering a deep cave. Immediately inside the door are some beautiful paintings.

The atmosphere is still and sacred. We heard that Gurudeva was invited here when the shrine was installed.

The room is surrounded by pictures of will known Saints, Sages and Guru’s of the highest caliber. These are just a few.

Whale watching from the balcony.

Magnificent views from Jeff’s home.

His home is overflowing with Gods and Sages.

Jeff’s personal library.

Anandra was our delightful host and served Swami and all of us a ginger orange refreshment.

The views from Jeff’s home are spectacular

Next we went to the Light House. A bit late to enter the bird sacturary we did spy a Monk seal below.

Next we went to Kealea Beach where Swamiji loved putting his feet in the water.

Group photo with Dr. Sindhar behind the camera.

The waves were coming faster than we could run!

Watching the Hawaiian surfers got everyone in the mood.

The outing allowed us time to be with Swamiji and swap Gurudeva, Trichy Swami stories!

Parking restrictions have limited the Public Tour to a few lucky souls this week.

Question of the week:

“How do such a few monks take care of all of this and all the programs you are telling us about?”
