Last February when Bodhinatha was in Bangalore Sivasri Sundramoorthy Sivachariyar told him his brother-in-law had just opened a temple in Canada. He thought it would be great blessing if Bodhinatha could visit the temple. Here Bodhinatha with Sivasri Chandrashekara Sivachariyar (far left) and other priesst from the Bangalore Padasala. He also started a padasala right in this temple to train priesst and teach religion. He invited Bodhinatha to come on a weekend so that he can organize an event for the temple devotees.
"Stand strong for Saivism." The nature of life for Saivites is to turn work into worship, to turn the secular into the sacred. Each day give a little extra warmth, humanness and upliftment to others. Every day is a holy day, all day long. We want to follow our religion even in our dreams. If we help someone, we're worshiping. Wherever we are, that's a place of worship. "To the Saivite Hindu all of life is sacred. All of life is religion."
