The Thamizhar Senthamarai is a leading Tamil newspaper in Toronto and other provinces in Canada. The attached article appeared in this paper this week-end, reporting on Satguru Bodhinatha Veylanswami’s presence at the 48th Yogaswami Maha Samadhi Pooja, at Sangamam Hall, Toronto.

Siva Darshanam Vanam Progress
The lovely new outdoor information and display area that we call “Siva Darshanam Vanam” is progressing. The three kiosks are finished, art work depicting Gurudeva’s visions that established San Marga and Iraivan are installed and the landscaping is nearly done. Several large Foxtail palms gifted by a neighbor have been planted in the back and a cactus and rock garden is under construction in the center.
Here visitors can enjoy the peace and learn all about how the temple was founded and enjoy the masterful art that our Kerala artist is creating, art which depicts the visions that Gurudeva had of Lord Siva, and more.
Bodhinatha at Sri Venkateshwara Temple Pittsburgh; City Tour
Bodhinatha has moved on from Canada to Eastern USA with the first stop at the Sri Venkateshwara Temple in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. Several of the devotee here wanted Bodhinatha to give talks to local Hindu community here. Our trip here was coordinated by Mr. Som Sharma and Dharmalingam Siddhan with the help of various other devotees. One of primary concern of the Hindus here is how to pass on the religion and the culture to the next generation of American Hindus--their children. That seems be the hot topic in every discussion many had with Bodhinatha. Due to unforeseen difficulties with our camera we could not capture the event for our Taka devotees. We had one free evening and was able to be tourist for couple hours.

Bodhinatha's Latest Upadesha: "Detachment from Experiences; Importance of Daily Vigil" (May 5, 2013)
All experiences are good experiences, necessary to get us here. Awareness of aspects of ourselves that are constantly changing is a liberating perception, breaking our chains to mundane areas, detaching from instinctive and intellectual to go into superconscious. The greatest challenge facing youth today is the lack of relating to the devotional side of Hinduism. Daily practice, daily vigil, moves us forward spiritually. Commentary on Merging with Siva, The Master Course, Lesson 21.
