June 21st Homa

Today the monks began their new phase. The big news this phase is that, for our Innersearch team, it is their last one before boarding their flight to Mauritius. Bodhinatha, Sadasivanathaswami, Saravanathaswami, Senthilnathaswami, Rajanatha, Mayuranatha and Jayanatha will be leaving for three weeks on the 26th. The team will be spending this phase making their final preparations. The day following their departure will be an auspicious Ardra Abhishakam in Kadavul Temple.

Following this morning's homa, Bodhinatha gave an insightful upadesha. Continuing with his reading from Patanjali's Yoga Sutras, he discussed the restraint of mental activities, which is accomplished through continued, consistent practice and through detachment.
