Last week Acharya Kumarnathaswami with the help of Kulapati Durvasa Alahan completed the intricate work of installing the new vinyl floor in the media studio. Designed by Sadasivanathaswami... how beautiful it is! Brahmanathaswami was determined to make the move, so he brought in all the table/desk bases in and the table tops so that the innersearch team could come right in and start working when they return tomorrow. And he himself moved in and is fully functional now in the new space.
On the day of Guru Purnima, after the morning ceremonies. As the Innersearchers went off with their fifteen local host families for a cultural immersion day and dinner, Bodhinatha and the monks went to a hill side Murugan temple which is celebrating its 150th year. Gurudeva climbed these same 366 stone steps in 1983 and named a child that year who became the nation's foremost Sivacharya. The following day was our final full day and everyone felt a little sorrow for that but also talked about saving for the next Innersearch.
Kulapati Manon Mardemootoo was another one of the Mauritius members who was instrumental in the logistics behind the scenes. He arranged many key events. Here the innersearchers visit the President of Mauritius.
Mauritius is world-renowned for the beauty of its surrounding seas. The incredible blues have to be seen in person! Here we see innerseachers on a catamaran near a little island about two miles off the coast of Mauritius.
Archives are now available through 2001. Light colored days have no posts. 1998-2001 coming later.
