Recently the young monks enjoyed a two hour class with their satguru. The class is a continuation on Patanjali's Yoga Sutras. Satguru Bodhinatha has developed a commentary on the Yoga Sutras and is preparing another class on how Patanjali's Sutras relates to Gurudeva's writings.
"Patanjali was a Saivite Natha siddha (ca 200 BCE) who codified the ancient yoga philosophy which outlines the path to enlightenment through purification, control and transcendence of the mind. His system is one of the six classical philosophical systems (darshanas) of Hinduism and is known as Yoga Darshana. In English it is called Classical Yoga."

Acharya Arumuganathaswami and Sadhaka Jayanatha are out on mission again! This time they will be traveling to Florida where the two will be attending the 3-day Uberoi Conference; speaking with people at the Hindu University of America in Orlando; meeting at the University of Florida in Gainsville; having a short stop in Sacremento and back to Kauai.
