Bodhinatha's Recent Upadeshas

Bodhinatha

“The Practice of Contentment” (November 6, 2015)

Reflect on happiness, joy and sorrow. Even when having what we want, suffering is built in. Sometimes we condition our happiness. During morning sadhana claim and move awareness into the fourth dimension, (simvumkami in Shum), the anahata chakra, contentment. The goal is to find your inner bliss, ananda, in meditation, feel the spiritual energy of the spine and hold it throughout the day. In Shum ibihaiiishum: The sadhana of bringing forth from oneself joy and happiness under all circumstances.

Master Course, Dancing with Siva, Lesson 51

“Hatha Yoga, Relaxation, Letting Go” (November 11, 2015)

Set aside personality. Focus on being a spiritual individual. Hatha yoga helps release stress and tension. Use subsuperconscious, not reason, analysis and intellect for understanding in an intuitive way. Let go of negative attachments, flow with the river of life in a natural way. Fulfill the highest dharma. Dissolve the seeds of desire.

Master Course, Merging with Siva, Lesson 214.
Cognizantability, Twentieth Aphorism.

    Jai Jai Shree Maha Ganesh!
    Aum Namasivaya!
Thank you Satguru for every word of wisdom. Having visited the Monastery during Maha Samathi celebrations for Gurudeva in early November, I realized true happiness lies in serving God and everything else in life is transitory! Worshipping Lord Siva incessantly in the Kadavul Temple is truly remarkable and I feel humbled before all the Monks. Thank you Gurdueva for all you have done to the Hindus worldwide and Hinduism alike. On this day I wish you all a Very Happy Thanksgiving from the bottom of my heart! I look forward to returning to Iraivan Temple!
