Mahasamadhi Class with Brahmanathaswami: Singing!
Hindus hold singing close to their hearts. One of the most expressive forms of bhakti for us is through song. Brahmanathaswami took us on a journey of sound, ranging from Yogaswami’s Natchintanai to Gurudeva’s Shum chanting.
Gurudeva Mahasamadhi Celebrations – Day 1

Yesterday we enjoyed Gurudeva's 2015 Mahasamadhi celebration. Shishya from all over the world have arrived on Kauai to join in the festivities. The day began with a Siva homa to get the energies flowing, then after a delicious breakfast, pilgrims attended a class on hatha yoga with Muruganathaswami. After lunch together, everyone had a midday break and that afternoon attended a gathering in the Media Studio. Each member of the Ganapati Kulam gave a presentation about a different area of service that happens in their small, but beautifully designed building.
Staying in Tune with Superconsciosness
By having a strong habit of a daily religious practice we don't lose contact with with superconscious by the demands of the external. Saying and believing, "I'm all right right now," influences the flow of spiritual energy. Work intuitively, from 'inner orders.' Yogaswami said: "Summa iru. Be still, and what you need will come to you."
