117 Recordings of Merging with Siva by Satguru Sivaya Subramuniyaswami

Satguru Sivaya Subramuniyaswami

Gurudeva tried to keep the monks on the leading edge of digital content development. In the early days of the web ( 1998) he recorded 117 chapters of Merging with Siva. We release these on TAKA every day and also had a podcast. Now we are bringing these back to life in our digital media library. Go to the complete talks index, click on Satguru Sivaya Subramuniyaswami, choose 1998 and scroll down to August 15 to see the whole list. Or go here for a catalog view.

Welcoming Our Kauai Firefighters

Recently, we had a visit from the Fire Inspector for the finalization of our Media Studio's certificate of occupancy. While here he was intrigued to find out that the Aadheenam was a lot bigger than just the front area commonly seen on an initial visit. Realizing its size and the amount of buildings we have, he requested a tour for his peers so that they could know the landscape in case there ever was an emergency. We happily complied. Today Yoginathaswami gave them a tour of our facilities and of Iraivan temple. The group probably wasn't sure what to expect, but they all ended up have a great time. Particularly enjoying the beauty and engineering of Iraivan.

Ladies Retreat – Day 2

Today was the second full day of the Ladies Retreat on Kauai. This morning was a class with Paramacharya Sadasivanathaswami, after which they adjourned for a tour of the recently renovated Media Studio--a new sight for many.
