From Satguru's Travels

In there travels Satguru Bodhinatha Veylanswami, Sannyasin Shanmuganathaswami and Sannyasin Siddhanathaswami attended a Satsang at the Ragade family's home. It started with a wonderful cultural performance with singing, violin, veena and bamboo flute. Satguru then gave a spontaneous talk followed by Shanmuganathaswami's mudra class. Watch a video here

The next day our travelers drove down to Salem to visit the Dandapani's home. Their hosts had just finished remodeling and creating their shrine room the night before. A simple puja was performed, the first puja in the new shrine room, followed by a house blessing. After chatting for a bit, they all went to downtown Salem and drove by the state Capitol on a drive by tour of the city.

They had a chance to take a nice walk in Portland. There were many multitudes of trees, much of them flowering. Some were dropping petals that looked like snow. The tall tree in the last photo is of an Oregon white oak tree in front of the Dandapani's home. It's a protected species. This tree is over 120 years old.

Archives are now available through 2001. Light colored days have no posts. 1998-2001 coming later.
