Several days ago, Satguru Bodhinatha Veylanswami and Sannyasin Shanmuganathaswami attended the chariot parade at The Murugan Temple of North America in Lanham, Maryland. First was an abhishekam and then the parade which lasted from 9:30 to 3:30. It was krittika nakshtra so it was felt to be extra auspicious. Kumar Gurukkal was there, and assisted and decorating the Deity faces in his life-like way.
