We had a warm welcome in Portland and Paramacharya was greeted in the traditional manner.

The amazing moment in Rajanatha's life occurred when he smelled a rose for the first time, a rose like this anyway. The connection of temple rose water came rushing in and immediately the two were synced: "this is where rose water comes from!"

The roses in Portland were of a special kind and the heirloom varieties such as this held the power of temple rose water. Who would have guessed not just any rose is used for rose water.
