Beginning Each Phase with a Homa

"The mantra 'Shi-Va'" Satguru explained during his morning talk "is an interesting meditation meaning it can be turned into an interesting meditation. Shi and Va we don't have to just do 'Namah Shivaya' we can do Shi-Va reflecting on god as Absolute and God as all-pervasiveness. Or we can do it reflecting on ourselves as the Absolute or ourselves as all-pervasivness."

The monks gathered again for their inner routine of having a homa in Kadavul temple. The energies are still buzzing from Thai Pusam and pilgrims from all over are still coming to see that Dancing Deity.

Satguru's talk was from Path to Siva Lesson 16 on the sacred Namah Shivaya mantra. You won't want to miss the talk to be posted to TAKA in the coming days.
