Caring for a Dying Dog

An e-devotee in Arizona asks about the proper way to care for an elderly dog. Gurudeva answers that a domesticated dog which has been in the family for a long time should be treated as a family member. Gurudeva advises not to "put the dog to sleep" as a way to "help with the pain."

Having hurt another through wrongdoing, one has to pay back in proportion to the injury, not a rupee less and not a rupee more. The moment the healing is complete, the scar will mysteriously vanish. This is the law. It is a mystical law.
