What Religious People Do

Following yesterday's two questions and answers on backbiting and good money/bad money, Gurudeva continues with a spontaneous discourse which fits both of these topics into the broader context of the practice of ahimsa and Sanatana Dharma itself. Giving a gift begrudgingly in return for another gift is, of course, mere barter. Many families barter their way through life in this way, thinking they are giving. But such gifts are cold, the fulfillment is empty, and the law of karma pays discounted returns.
