"All my followers realize that for eons
our lineage has come forward to recreate a Hindu unity. Therefore, they are
dedicated to building when necessary and keeping strong when not, an invincible
Hindu solidarity. Aum"
Gurudeva
The small but continuing stream of pilgrims and visitors continues. On the left we have
Mr. Rudhraraju Subramuniam and his wife, Rajeswari, daughter Jhansi. The family
is from Chicago. Mr. Rudhraraju was a board member of the Lemont, Rama temple
in Chicago in 1983 when Gurudeva was instrumental in getting the temple started
by sending a large murthi of Lord Ganesha to start the worship, which was the
first murthi of the temple.
On the right, Mr. Ravi, his wife Rithu, daughter Tara and aunt
and mother, from Atlanta, Georgia came to Hawaii for a conference but made their
first stop here on Kauai to be with Gurudeva. They were very interested in positive
discipline for children and Gurudeva gifted them some of his books on parenting
with love.
Kauai
Aadheenam has been the sanctuary for an image of the Shingon Buddhist Deity,
Nada Buddha Ke, which is kept here while the temple in Lawai on Kauai, undergoes
reconstruction. Nada Buddha Ke is considered to have healing powers and occasional
visitors come to see him at which time we take him out of the temple and put
him under the banyon tree so that our Buddhist friends and visitors can have
full darshan.

Nada Buddha Ke's darshan is deliberately "shocking" as he has the
power to scare away negative forces and thus bring relief to the devotee.
