 It's Sun 2 at Kauai's Hindu monastery. And it is JAZZ day. For those not initiated into the esoterics of the argot of the Ganapati Kulam, this day comes each month, at the end, and is the name of our now moribund Deadline Day. Gurudeva thought that term a bit morose, and so named this day after the Iomega JAZ cartridges on which all our digital files are assembled for shipping to our printer in Missouri.
 Gurudeva had a nice long talk with the Dandapani family, here from their home in Alaska.  The not-too-humble orchid hanging on the bark of the Wiliwili Tree is showing off again. |
Jai Ganesha! Jivananda was inspired by the vista which is the centerpiece of the ashram and captured this view of the fern valley, natural rock pond and light bathing the mountains behind. As you can see, it's a beautiful day. Or as Gurudeva would say, "Just another boring day in Paradise!"
