Gurudeva`s Spirit of the Day

The spirit of the day is to never be ashamed to say "I'm sorry." It heals and binds people back together. Pride prevents us, ego prevents us, from making apologies. Knowing this, the ardent seeker can easily overcome the reluctance and apologize for any misdeeds:
"The ten abstinences are nonviolence, truth, nonstealing, chastity, kindness, rectitude, forgiveness, endurance, temperance in food and purity."
