Gurudeva's word to the monks today, after the morning Arati: "Keep the sadhana going at a very high level of consciousness."

Mr. Narayana from Florida does Abhishekam, pouring water over the "Kannappa Lingam" at the outdoor shrine on the Path of the Nayanars. This is very special as most Hindu temples will allow only the priests inside to make this special offering. One of the most beautiful and peaceful places of our outdoor sanctuary called "San Marga," the Path of the Nayanars is a lovely, secluded area for pilgrims to wander in walking contemplation or sit for silent meditation.

Preparations for the foundation concrete pour are underway again as the date is now only two weeks away. Here Dennis Wong digs a trench for water pipes that will come from the stream to the site.

It is essential to keep the concrete slab wet for a long time after it is poured in order to make it set properly. The pipes will need to be underground because trucks will be driving over the area continuously through the day.
