Pilgrims, pilgrims, pilgrims are coming everyday. On the left: Kriya Haran from Seattle, student of Gurudeva for 30 years, Tara Katir with Indivar Sivanathan from Bend Oregon, and on the right the Kandiah family. Rajasekar Kandiah is married to a Polynesian lady and they have a lovely baby child. Originally from Malaysia his two sisters (seated in front of Gurudeva on the right) came to Hawaii to visit and see Gurudeva. They went to see Gurudeva when he was in Malaysia but the crowd was so huge they couldn't even get near to see him or purchase any books. When they found out all the books were sold after he left, they decided to come to Hawaii! Tara Katir with Indivar Sivanathan who has been one of Gurudeva's devotees for nearly 30 years. Indivar had a very bad car accident last year and we were all overjoyed to see her walking and looking very bright and healthy! Our pilgrims asked Sivakatirswami to tell the story of how our temples got started. They are wrapt with attention at the always inspiring story of Gurudeva's visions of Lord Muruga and Lord Shiva through which he established Kadavul Hindu temple and the Iraivan temple. Indivar Sivanathan has been a key sevak in Gurudeva's publishing effort, as a professional photographer with her own studio, she has taken countless shots on past innersearches and of events here at the Aadheenam and more recently has been helping Acharya Palaniswami "capture" all the wonderful art work being sent from India, by shooting many of the larger paintings so that we can have them preserved and filed carefull as transparencies for future publications. Despite her accident and major surgery, Indivar came through it all with a bright spirit! Year 2000 March Caribbean Innersearch Taking Reservations Now Don't Delay as the group is limited in size Gurudeva says, "Come with me to the Caribbean next March, on the Year 2000 Innersearch. Besides our wonderful study together, we are planning a gala gathering of Hindus in Trinidad for one day." We will depart from Fort Lauderdale, Florida, on March 25th and return to Fort Lauderdale on April 4th and be traveling on Holland America's spectacular, brand new cruise ship, the MS/Volendam.
