Satguru Speaks

Cybertalk: Gurudeva gives a cogent explanation of the subsuperconscious mind, gives examples of how you may already be using it, and tells about learning to use it consciously. This is a good one to listen to over and over.

Innersearch Caribbean 2000

Gurudeva arrives at the home of Mr. Kishu Chandiramani on the island of St.Kitts.

Gurudeva poses with Mr. Kishu Chandiramani and family and friends at their home.

Gurudeva speaks to the group. There are only about 5 Hindu families on the island of St.Kitts.

John, who works for Mr.Chandiramani, drove one of the vans we traveled in when we were given a tour of the island. He says cricket is the one thing that brings the people of St. Kitts together. Just for your information, cricket is one of the major sports in the Caribbean and they are crazy about it!

This is a view of the MS Volendam from the center of town. It was the tallest structure on, or off, the island.

Moments before we boarded the ship, upon returning from a tour of the island of St. Kitts, a big black limo pulled alongside the MS Volendam and out stepped Sir Dr. Cuthbert M. Sebastian, Governor General of St. Kitts, Queen's Representative. Mr. Kishu Chandiramani (center) introduces Gurudeva to the Governor General.

Gurudeva and Sir Dr. Sebastian pose for a memorable photo.

Gurudeva and Sannyasin Yoginathaswami prepare to board the ship as Sadhaka Dandapani walks the plank to get them.

All aboard!......off to the French colonial island of Martinique.

A couple of islands and days later.....Gurudeva and the Innersearchers with the gigantic MS Volendam by their side arrive at Dominica.

Gurudeva gives a talk to about fifteen Carib aboriginals at the Layou River Hotel.

Anthony Toulon conducted a meditation class and hosted Gurudeva in Dominica.

Gurudeva and Chief Garnett Joseph. He is the leader of more than 3000 of the Carib aboriginals.

Gurudeva and Mr. Jean Sahai. He is a wonderful supporter of Hinduism Today who buys and distributes the magazines every month. He flew in from the island of Guadaloupe just to see Gurudeva.

Aaahh!...one of the highlights of the trip......the river meditation. The gorgeous Layou River provided the perfect setting for this. Kanda Alahan from California.

Mrs. Tilaka Sundar\

One of the local Carib aboriginals that attended Gurudeva's talk.

Swarup and Usha Bhatnagar, sisters from Maryland, near Washington D.C.

Deva Rajan from Canyon, California.

Nilufer Clubwala.

Another Carib aboriginal joins in the meditation.

Looks just like the Wailua River Ganga Sadhana area at Kauai Aadheenam!

Dasa Sivam from the Big Island in Hawaii.

Rajkumar Manickam from Avon, Colorado.

Shivani Rajan takes a break in the cool waters.

Ananda Manickam.

Sadhaka Dandapani takes a restful gaze at the beautiful Caribbean water as we leave this island... on to the next!

Saiva Dharmasala, Mauritius

A couple of times a week, disciples of Gurudeva are invited into the monastery to make a conference call to Gurudeva. Here are (left to right) Kulapati Mootoosamy Pareatumbee, Mukhya Paramaseeven Canagasabya, Mukhya Moorghen Caremben, his wife Grihini Ragini Caremben and their children. The guru's grace makes this group a fine looking one.

The Moorghen Caremben family with children. On the far right is Kulapati Anba Valayten's boy.

And there's his father, Anba Valayten, self-made man managing a staff of 38 at the luxurious Saint Geran hotel near Flacq.

The children also get to speak with Gurudeva and hear his fine messages and guidance.

Here is Kulapati Mootoosamy Pareatumbee, otherwise known as Chef Mougam, another self-made man, formerly an executive chef at several luxury hotels in this part of the world. Now he has opened his own hotel and catering training center. It will offer classes in classical European cuisine as well as vegetarian and ayurvedic cooking. Anyone interested? Call (country code 230) 539-0104 or fax 418-1104.

THANK YOU, GURUDEVA!

For those who have been touched spiritually by Gurudeva's work, his books, his guidance, his inspired life and example and even his website, the "Thank You, Gurudeva Fund" has been established within Hindu Heritage Endowment.

Proceeds from this fund are forever, not a one-time gift, so gifts to this fund have an eternal gratitude built into them. They live on, in perpetuity.

Each month Gurudeva receives the income from the fund, to be used at his own discretion to promote his work and mission around the globe. He loves this, for he knows that it comes from all the good souls who have met him and studied with him, or traveled or just talked with him, over the years. A contribution to this fund is tax-deductible.
