 Gurudeva signs over fifteen books today for visitors eager for inner knowledge.
Cybertalk: A Hindu Saivite Brahmin in London tells Gurudeva about his roomate--a jolly good chap, overall, except for when he explains how Hindus will go to hell unless they accept Jesus. Hmmn. Gurudeva, what should he do? As we would guess, Gurudeva recommends he surround himself with like minded Hindus, or at least devout Hindus, so that he can delve ever deeper into his own spiritual path.

Transcription of One of Gurudeva's CyberTalks June 7, 2000 Title: Overcoming Fear Category: Self-Improvement Another question from Cyberspace from Nolita@yahoo.com: "Fear is a problem in my life. How can I overcome fear?" Perform an affirmation every day, ten times a day. "I am strong! I am fearless! I am invincible!" To live in the world today you have to be strong. You have to be invincible. That means not taking other people's feelings. What does strong mean? Strong means that when you make up your mind to do something after examining all the facts and you have a plan, follow through with that plan. Develop your will power and that overcomes fear.  Our weekly tour group.  Gurudeva signs books . . . in the background are a group of seekers from Finland who are here on a spiritual pilgrimage.  Many of them filled in the registration card in the back of "Merging with Shiva" so that they could enroll right away in the study course which begins with a daily reading for a year and performing daily the 52 "Merging with Shiva" Sadhanas, one spiritual practice to be performed each week for the year. Good evening, everyone! It's a great pleasure to see all of your happy faces here in the Indescribable One's holy temple on this, His most sacred, night. You have come such long distances to worship Him here in the middle of the Pacific Ocean on this lovely Garden Island.
 "My satguru, Siva Yogaswami, was a great siddha, a master and a knower of God. He would say, "Liberation is within you." He would order his seekers to "See God in everything. You are in God. God is within you. To realize the Supreme Being within you, you must have a strong body and a pure mind." He was a powerful mystic from Sri Lanka, near India„perhaps the greatest to live in this century--and his words drove deeply into the hearts of all who heard them. "God is in everyone. See Him there. God is overwhelmingly present everywhere. Regard everything as a manifestation of God, and you will realize the Truth" were his words. Simple words for a simple truth, but very, very difficult to practice."  Brahmachari Tejadeva had a visit from his nineteen-year-old sister Ashley who is now studying communications in Honolulu. She experienced her first Ganesha puja at the temple here.  More assistance from Lord Shiva's incredible world of color. The inner plane devas who create these flowers are such superior artists!  The bouganvilla flower is actually a set of colored leaves which surround the "real" flower a tiny blossom in the middle.  We have been getting a perfect mix of water and fire these past two weeks as bursts of gentle rain fall from small sets of clouds that dance across the mountains that surround us.
