Today was Siva Yogaswami's Maha Samadhi day. "Maha Samadhi" means the "Great Merger in God," and is the term used to denote the day that a realized Being makes his transition from this earth plane to the inner worlds. It is widely celebrated as an anniversary in remembrance and celebration of the Great Ones who preceeded us. Our spiritual lives and evolution are predicated on their realizations, committment to sadhana and lives lived in dharma.
Satguru Speaks
Cybertalk: Gurudeva counsels a cyber-space admirer who asks about exactly
how to implement the ideal of forgiving inwardly at once insults and
injuries received, but outwardly only when the transgressor reconciles and
apologizes. Gurudeva advises to stand up strong and sure and bring it all
out into the open so that it may be resolved. Don't just ignore your family
forever, Gurudeva says.
Title: Don't Just Forgive. Resolve!

Today Gurudeva held a live radio broadcast, via telephone, on a radio show in Toronto, Canada. In the talk he spoke of the many great things that had evolved from Sri Lanka as a results of Siva Yogaswami's life. So many wonderful events, new temples, spreading of the great Tamil Shaivite culture around the world. . .all due to Siva Yogaswami's life and teachings.
Devasiva Veylan gets his ear-rings.
Subramaniam Wickramavarathan (on the right) and his wife Thiraviam, with their grandson Sanahan. Tamil devotees from Jaffna, Sri Lanka, they lived in Ethiopia for eight years and then moved to Canada where they are now retired.
Sivakumar from Singapore also has his ears bored.

THANK YOU, GURUDEVA!
For those who have been touched spiritually by Gurudeva's work, his books, his guidance, his inspired life and example and even his website, the "Thank You, Gurudeva Fund" has been established within Hindu Heritage Endowment.
Proceeds from this fund are forever, not a one-time gift, so gifts to this fund have an eternal gratitude built into them. They live on, in perpetuity.
Each month Gurudeva receives the income from the fund, to be used at his own discretion to promote his work and mission around the globe. He loves this, for he knows that it comes from all the good souls who have met him and studied with him, or traveled or just talked with him, over the years. A contribution to this fund is tax-deductible.
