Things are moving forward at the temple site. Our master architect, Ganapati Sthapati, is in the USA right now visiting temples that he has participated in planning and will be in Florida in the next few days. Shanmuga Sthapati ,shown here, is thinking ahead and will be call him in Florida to request that more drawings be prepared for phase two of the temple erection after the main sanctum is complete. This will consist of the roof and gopurums (towers) that are on the left, right and back of the sanctum.

Those who saw Sthapati's drawing on the ornamental stone the other day now can follow the progress of this work. Actually there were five stones that each have five of these "flower" ornaments which form the crowns on the very top of the columns that run up the side of the sanctum walls, ending on the 10th and 11th courses.
This is very careful work, requiring many, many chisels.
Sadhaka Haranandinatha who is one of our guest hosts is showing architectural drawings of the temple to guests. Please give generously today!
