Cybertalk: In part two of his talk on anger, Bodhinatha refers back to a trip Gurudeva made to Malaysia in June 2000. Before Gurudeva left he was thinking positively about the practice of agnihotra, home fire worship, which Aboorvass was advocating and selling supplies for. But when Gurudeva got to Malaysia he found that many of the people involved were angry people and concluded that it's not a good idea for angry people to perform such ceremonies. It invokes the asuras. Gurudeva elucidated seven chakras below the main chakras in the torso and head. These chakras in the legs and feet are the realm of the asuras, the instinctive mind, and the second chakra below the muladhara is that anger. Anger in the Nandinatha Sutras and Living with Siva say that those who get angry should refrain from meditation, japa and kundalini yoga practices. These create a certain inner intensity which would only make anger worse. Bodhinatha elaborates on the different ways in which men and women express their anger, as well as the effects of alcohol on the angry person.

Dr. Thomas Yarema (left), a holistic doctor with a practice in Kapaa brought Dr. Ishida and his dentistry staff also from Kapaa to experience the monastery and temple. Though Dr. Ishida was born and raised on Kauai, he had never been up to the monastery before.
This is Deepak Krishan with his wife Rachna, son Rishabh and daughter Shefali. They are visiting from Orange County in California. He is an accountant and recently bought some land on Kauai, and would love to eventually retire here.
This is their second trip to Kauai and Deepak first discovered us by thoroughly perusing our website, including these TAKA pages. The family is Jain, and Deepak hails from Delhi originally, while Rachna comes from Jaipur.
They greatly enjoying walking around Iraivan Temple, visiting the rudraksha trees--where the kids especially to delight in trying to eat the blue fruit on the outside of the seeds--- and performing personal abhishekam to the Narmada Sivalingam.
The blue flesh on the outside of the rudraksha is just a thin layer, hardly enough for a meal, but it's sweet astringent taste is intriguing and, for certain types of tongues delightfully refreshing and cooling.
A look out from the Kadavul Siva temple down toward the entrance. The path to the temple starts out at a very humble entrance at the end of Kaholalele Road. A visitor unfamilliar with the place would have no idea what was coming after he came up through the small opening under the banyan tree branches, opening out to our little wonderland by the Wailua River.
