"There is an old saying favored by practical, experiential intellectuals, "Seeing is believing." A more profound adage is "Believing is seeing...."

Gurudeva Darshan of the Day

"...The scientists and the educators of today live in the marul pada. They see with their two eyes and pass judgments based on what they currently believe. The rishis of the past and the rishis of the now and those yet to come in the future also are seers. There is a thin thread through the history of China, Japan, India, England and all of Europe, Africa, the Americas, Polynesia and all the countries of the world connecting seers and what they have seen. This seeing is not with the two eyes. It is with the third eye, the eye of the soul. One cannot erase through argument or coercion that which has been seen. The seer relates his seeing to the soul of the one who hears. This is sampradaya. This is guru-shishya transference. This is Truth. This is shuddha. This is the end of this upadesha."

What Happened Today at the Monastery?

Bodhinatha and Sannyasin Arumugaswami leave for England on the 22nd... If you are in the UK and want to come to some events, please see the schedule on Bodhinatha's Travel page.

Photo shows Gurudeva worshipping at the Highgate Murugan temple in North London during the 2001 European Innersearch. Bodhinatha will be here on Friday, 25th March, as the guest of honor at the Satguru Yogaswami Mahasamadhi celebrations.

A short walking meeting... take time for sharing and get some fresh air at the same time...

Iraivan Temple Construction Progress

It's an exciting time at the temple as the Vimanam is slowly unveiling... It seems this rock requires some adjustments....

A view from the east...

From the Northeast...

A close up of the top of the temple...

The gold-leafed capstone is even more brilliant that we could have imagined... And, yes, it's real 23-karat gold!

Work continues on the top of the East Gopuram, still "under wraps" to protect the team from sun and showers.

Sages sitting in silence...

Yogaswami wrote: "Thus it is clear that there is nothing apart from the Supreme One. His Will prevails from everlasting to everlasting. Word--It vibrates in the light of Peace--Mounam (Silence). The Act--It pulsates in the light of Peace--Mounam. Everything radiates the effulgence of Peace, Perfect Peace. "
