Jaya Ganesha Deva

From a collection of popular (and open source) traditional Ganeha bhajans, sung by renowned singer, the late Jagjit Singh. He was famed for his romantic movie ghazal songs (love songs in a genre popularized by Muslim Sufis from Persia). Later in life he did a few albums of religious songs from the Hindu tradition. Note on pronunciation, the word "victory" or "Jaya" is pronounced often as "Jay" or "Jey" but written as "jai". We have opted to use "Jaya" as this is the original Sanskrit word and the best "normalization" of variation that we could come to. Actual vocalization will vary by region.

When we begin to meditate, we have to transmute the energies of the physical body. By sitting up straight with the spine erect, the energies of the physical body are transmuted.
