Naganathan Family on Pilgrimage

Sriram and Revathi Naganathan with their daughters are visiting for the first time from San Jose, California.

They fell in love with the serenity of the Aadheenam grounds

Another family joined us for the tour

They are very active in the Vaidica Vidhya Ganapathi Center (Lakshmi Ganapathi Temple) in San Jose. They know our sishyas Hotranatha Ajaya family.
Polihale Mystics

The monks returned after three days at Polihale.

At around 6 PM we sit for the evening meditation, facing the western seas.

The magic of the ocean and sun before us reminds us of the ancient rishis doing their sandya.

Merging with Siva!

Chanting the Gayatri Mantra:
Om Bhur Bhuvah Svaha
Tat Savitur Varenyam
Bhargo Devasya Dhimahi
Dhyo Yo Nah Prachodayat
Today's Tour

Beautiful spring day brought many bright souls on our public tour day to see Iraivan Temple.

Linnea, Christina and Maja came all the way from Malmo Sweden. They are came specifically to Kauai to enjoy nature, yoga and to celebrate Christina’s defeat of cancer.

This is Aparna Sarma (on the right), with her mother. Bodhinatha just signed her copy of “What is Hinduism”. She just graduated from Medical School and fell in love with Iraivan. She has pledged to send her very first paycheck to help finish the temple. She is just starting her residency in Neurology in Texas.

This is Chip, Joni, Kyle, Bodhinatha, Joni, Olivia and Evan. Chip and Joni are both psychiatrists from Lafayette, Louisiana.
New Phase Begins

Our phase began with homa today.

Saravananathaswami conducts the rites.

Agni passes our messages on to the inner worlds. Perhaps this is how it looks to the devas?

and the Nartana Ritau
What Is Sadhana?
What Is Sadhana?
"Sadhana is practiced...wherever a pure, serene atmosphere can be found." Achieve steadiness, control of emotions through abhyasa-regular consistent practice with devotion, yoga-the restraint of mental activities and vairaghya-dispassion. Like the growth of a kauri tree, it's a slow process; check it every few years, see the progress.

Nartana Ritau - A Season For Planning
Bodhinatha describes Nartana Ritau, one of three seasons as created by Gurudeva. Each season corresponds to a book of the Master Course Trilogy. Nartana Ritau-Dancing with Siva-philosophy, begins on the Tamil New Year and is a time for planning.
