Public Tour Day

With Summer in full bloom many of our Asian guests are more than surprised to find a Hindu monastery and Siva Temple tucked away at the top of Kuamoo Road. When asked how they found us - we hear a litany of familiar responses. "Our concierge told us about it." - "The waiter at the restaurant told us we had to come." Gurudeva's wisdom in integrating and serving the people of Kauai and not staying "aloof" or separate from the community has created a deep respect and appreciation for the monastery island wide. Many people fear what they don't understand or anyone who is different. Leave it to Gurudeva's mastery and unconditional love to create a home for generations of monks to come who will be embraced by the people of Kauai.
